Long Hammered Copper Threader Earrings with Amethyst | Handmade Spiral Drops

A single amethyst bead hangs beneath an elongated hand-forged copper ear wire in these minimal statement earrings, combining a simple gemstone drop with the warm texture and irregular character of worked copper.

Each earring begins as copper wire that is individually shaped and hammered by hand. The extended ear wire curves through the piercing and continues behind the ear, creating an unusually long, slender silhouette. At the front, the copper curls inward into a small spiral before meeting a natural purple amethyst bead.

Small copper-toned accents frame the amethyst, while a second hand-formed spiral finishes the bottom of the drop. The repeated spiral gives the otherwise minimal design a subtle sense of ancient ornament without reproducing a specific historical motif.

Despite their dramatic length, the earrings have a spare, lightweight appearance. The open construction and small gemstone make them easy to pair with everyday clothing while the elongated copper silhouette gives them a distinctly unconventional edge.
