Each earring begins with an open copper frame, individually shaped and lightly hammered by hand. A row of Botswana agate beads stretches across the upper portion of the hoop, displaying the stone's naturally varied shades of smoky brown, taupe, cream, honey, and charcoal.

Below, a graduated fringe of individually formed and hammered copper drops moves freely from the frame. Fine copper chain suspends the hoops from oversized handmade copper ear wires, creating an elongated chandelier silhouette with plenty of movement while keeping the design visually open.

The irregular colors of the natural stone and subtle differences in the hand-worked copper give each earring its own character. Warm, earthy and a little primitive in feel, these statement earrings pair natural stone with the marks and texture of handmade metalwork.
