Letters From the Studio

A monthly letter from the workbench.

More than a newsletter.

Every piece begins with a story.

Letters From the Studio is where I share the history, folklore, and creative process behind Studio Henbane. From archaeological discoveries and traditional craft to field notes from the Pacific Northwest, you'll receive the same stories that inspire each collection.

Whether I'm experimenting with handmade paper, researching Bronze Age grave goods, or carving new block prints, subscribers receive an invitation into the studio before anyone else.

About Studio Henbane

I'm Alicia, a Pacific Northwest mixed-media artist inspired by archaeology, folklore, and traditional craftsmanship. I work primarily with copper, natural stone, fiber, handmade paper, and reclaimed materials, creating small-batch collections that reflect the beauty and history of the natural world.
