Materials & Process
Studio Henbane explores texture, tradition, and handcrafted construction through small-batch adornments and objects.
Our work draws inspiration from natural forms, woven structures, weathered surfaces, botanical references, and tactile materials.
Many pieces incorporate combinations of:
- Woven natural fibers
- Metal elements
- Glass, bone & metal beads
- Found and foraged materials
- Hand-assembled details
Each piece is created with attention to material character rather than strict uniformity. Variations in texture, patina, finish, and form are considered part of the handmade process and contribute to the individuality of each object.
We embrace slow craft and the subtle marks left by making things by hand.
Some works may evolve naturally over time through wear, oxidation, or material aging. These changes are considered part of the living surface and material history of the piece.
